I’m always astounded when I see vegans and vegetarians who weren’t raised that way. I was raised vegetarian, my parents are vegetarian, my whole family is vegetarian. So for me it’s my inherent nature. I don’t have to think twice, I don’t even notice the meat part on menus or anything. But for those who were raised in a non-vegetarian household, having the insane amount of willpower probably required to be and stay veg*an… that’s just incredible. My mother and I have this sort of conversation all the time. Against their upbringing, their veg*an and idk it’s incredible because in non-indian people, non-veg*ans almost have no concept of vegetarianism and. ugh I dunno I’m just gushing.
